As you can see on the old postcards from below, Bremen once had an harbour with big ships. But the times has changed. The most of the big ships are landing in Bremerhaven, at it´s new Container-Terminal. The boats going to Bremen are mostly so called "Binnenschiffe", they do not travel the open sea, only the rivers and has sand loaded or corn for the mill (Roland-Mühle).
