Central London

Nice and sunny monday today, with 91 bus down to the central parts of London.

Over Waterloo Bridge...

On the left of Waterloo Station this small quarter around the Roupell Street from 1812. These 19th century houses were built upon the former marshland and sandbanks between Blackfriars Road in the east and Lambeth Bridge in the south. Read more about this conservation area here.

Back to the new parts of London, South Bank, and of course London Eye.

Big Ben strikes 12

Here is an old movie with impressions of London in 1918

Lambeth Palace
Lambeth Bridge over the Thames, through Westminster back to the Victoria Embankment.

Watch The Thames from Albert Bridge here.
