Lewes

T&B asked if I had been in Lewes, so I went off the train for a short look on this historical place before going further on in direction west again. I must say, I could have had a closer look, but wanted to reach Angmering in time for a ginger beer :)

I pushed my bike through the hilly town, visited Lewes Castle, the Barbican House with it´s Museum of Archaeology, spent some time in Keere Street, and took a look at Anne of Cleves House from outside.
Once again I was pleased by ornament and colour of the houses.
