Birds

The lark was singing from the sky and I was able to watch a lot of birds breeding or with their chicks :)

Mandarin Duck

The Grey Heron can be found all along the canal, commonly standing very still by the side of the water waiting to catch fish, frogs, insects or small mammals. Though large they nest in a flat basket of twigs up in a tree top. Their call is a loud harsh croaking which is often heard as they fly to roost in the dusk.
