The first cycle tour of the year :)

The weekend promised to be warm and sunny so I decided to make a ride with the bike from Bremen to Bremerhaven. Most of the tour is along river Weser, the connection  between the two towns.

James Bond

Since years I had the wish to put all the James Bond songs together. So I did it, here they are. It´s funny to hear how this music describes our later music history :)
I dedicate this potpourri to the heroes I know - especially to those who are working as secret agents ;)

Ween

I do like weird music. Ween has for some time been one of my favourite bands - but only their calmer songs :)
Here are some of them to start with:

Hip Hop

Here´s some Hip Hop :)

The record collection of my mother

It was lonesome at home after school, so as I was old enough to use the record player I started to listen to the record collection of my mother. I love singing, and listened again and again! For sure some of the records were damaged here and there, and unfortunately it ended with that she locked the door of the living room. At least this was the music I listened to as young girl - should I say, enjoy it? :)

More music!

As child and teenager I wasn´t very much into music.
I remember that day I got a new teacher for music at school, he played Summertime sung by Janis Joplin. It was strange what happened to me, somehow the music was creeping under my skin. I was upset and asked for to listen to the song a second time. But that was the first and the last contact with music made in the end of the sixties/the midst of the seventies. Unfortunately I never had any more lessons with that teacher.
First now I´m starting to listen to this music, and I have to concede, there is some nice stuff :)
So, it´s time for a compilation of some of my favourites, I hope you enjoy it :)

The Kinks

Not only The Beatles or The Rolling Stones were popular in the sixties. A dear friend of mine has always been fond of The Kinks, so I went off into the WWW ...

Listen, what I found!
