Tom The Toad

Sing on this tune Oh Christmas Tree

Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad
Why are you lying in the road?
Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad
Why are you lying in the road?
You did not see that car ahead
And you were flattened by the tread.
Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad
Why are you lying in the road?

Singalong

On my travels in Great Britain I was impressed by the tradition of singing together. People are taking their instruments to the pub and all the visitors are invited to sing along. Yesterday I was told that people from those islands in the times before ipods even were singing together on coach trips :)
Inspired by these habits I am happy to announce that I found some friends who wants to sing with me.
Behind the fold are some of the songs we are singing, so take a deep breath and join us!

For The Young Bits In Old Women

I found one of my first records I had as young girl - listen to Ted Gärdestad.

Tuesday

Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones - Ruby Tuesday

She would never say where she came from
Yesterday don't matter if it's gone
While the sun is bright
Or in the darkest night
No one knows
She comes and goes

Goodbye, ruby tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still Im gonna miss you...

Don't question why she needs to be so free
Shell tell you it's the only way to be
She just can't be chained
To a life where nothings gained
And nothings lost
At such a cost

There's no time to lose, I heard her say
Catch your dreams before they slip away
Dying all the time
Lose your dreams
And you will lose your mind.
Aint life unkind?

Goodbye, ruby tuesday
Who could hang a name on you?
When you change with every new day
Still Im gonna miss you...

Rainy sunday

The day is already old, but that doesn´t matter.

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning
praise the dawning
It´s just a restless feeling by my side
Early dawning
Sunday morning
It´s just the wasted years so close behind
Watch out the world´s behind you
There´s always someone around you who will call
It´s nothing at all

Sunday morning
And I´m falling
I´ve got a feeling I don´t wan´t to know
Early dawning
Sunday morning
It´s all the streets you crossed, not so long ago
Watch out the world´s behind you
There´s always someone around you who will call
It´s nothing at all

Watch out the world´s behind you
There´s always someone around you who will call
It´s nothing at all

Sunday morning

Dear Prudence

Dear Prudence, won´t you come out to play?
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day.
The sun is up, the sky is blue,
it´s beautiful, and so are you.
Dear Prudence, won´t you come out to play?

Dear Prudence, open up your eyes.
Dear Prudence, see the sunny skies.
The wind is low, the birds will sing,
that you are part of everything.
Dear Prudence, won´t you open up your eyes?

Look around round round
Look around round round
Oh look around

Dear Prudence, let me see you smile,
dear Prudence, like a little child.
The clouds will be a daisy chain,
so let me see you smile again.
Dear Prudence, won´t you let me see you smile?

Dear Prudence, won´t you come out to play?
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day.
The sun is up, the sky is blue,
it´s beautiful, and so are you.
Dear Prudence, won´t you come out to play?
