The spring starts early this year - it is the warmest March ever been measured in Germany.
On Sunday I decided to take my bicycle and cycle along the River Weser to Achim and back on the other riverside (32 engl. miles).
The sky was incredible blue, the lark was singing from high above and I saw two kinds of butterflies. Half the way I visited friends who are living in an old farmhouse from 1883. They are running a buisness for fruit pressing, a pottery and a free newspaper for the region.
After cakes and coffee I returned, the Blackbird was singing and I had a wonderful sunset- what a great day :)

South Devon and Tavistock Railway Trail
Matt had told me that Darmoor wouldn't be that steep as Exmoor. So in the next morning I started on the South Devon and Tavistock Railway Trail leading up to Dartmoor. It was one of these flat tracks in the midst of the most beautiful nature, just the right experience after a busy day in Plymouth.

Camel Trail, Luxulyan Valley, and Charlestown
I'm back, my friends, it's a rainy day in Fowey. But I found Pinky Murphys Cafe with good food and a computer :) A good opportunity to give you a short review about what happend lately.
On wednesday I left Padstow and the Atlantic Ocean. I took the Camel Trail which turned out to be a highway for all cyclists taking their holidy on the coast. After Wadebridge there was less traffic up to Bodmin where the trail ended.

The Tarka Trail
After having been in Exmoor, I went on in direction Barnstaple, where I found The Tarka Trail. It's a path for wanderers and cyclists and is built where the former railway was. I had sun and my way was flat, sooo happy about that :)

Bristol - Bath - Bradford upon Avon - Frome
Hello there!
As Pauline was so nice to let me sleep in her house for two nights, I took a whole day for Bristol. So I rolled downwards into the centre of the town, turned to the right, and found myself on the lovely St. Nicholas Markets, where I sat down with a chocolatine and a cup of coffee. Strolling through the market I decided to come back in the afternoon for a maroccan dinner (it was excellent, by the way!).
