Royalty

It was a grey saturday, but I wanted to go somewhere and take some pictures. Round about 100 km from where I live is the little town Bückeburg. It has a castle, Schloss Bückeburg, and a real prince (Fürst Alexander zu Schaumburg-Lippe) who lives in this castle with his family. I´m glad I only saw his cars.

 

I paid the price for admittance and additionally I paid 5,00 € for the golden badge - the admission to take pics. So, my friends, take a look at the photos I made, I paid the price for you :) Oh no, wrong! I paid a part of Fürst Alexanders petrol costs :)

Garden gnomes

I´m sorry to tell, but if you have the prejudice against the Germans that they has a lot of garden gnomes, I must say, you are quite right there :) Look what I found as I went for a walk through the allotment gardens near by.

The Shaggs

A father decides that his daughters shall become a famous musical group. He buys them instruments, takes them off school and urges them to play for several hours a day. Unfortunately the girls don´t know anything about music, and are not able to play the instruments. Short time later the father book them a weekly gig and brings them to a recording studio. "Philosophy of The World" remains the only recording of The Shaggs.
It´s not a fairy tale.
